Bio :

Miso-no-know-miso, a Japanese digital artist, specializes in 3D Computer Graphics and NFTs, focusing on the theme of 'deification' in human fantasies. Inspired by Japan's ancient snake worship and influenced by their mother's spiritual leanings, their art combines mythological elements with contemporary digital mediums. Miso-no-know-miso uses Blender for modeling and rendering, creating visually captivating works that explore the intersection of capitalism, idol worship, and unscientific human beliefs. Since 2021, they have been active in the NFT space, participating in prestigious events like NFT WEEKS TOKYO, IVS Crypto, NFC, TOKYO SOLID, and NFT.NYC. Their unique perspective on cultural and spiritual themes has made them a prominent figure in the digital art world.

Artist Statement :

I am a 3DCG artist based in Japan. After graduating from Nihon University College of Art, I have been creating while working as a designer.

My creative activity is an exploration into the expression of spirituality and aesthetics that lie at the foundation of Japanese animism and beliefs. My works, featuring cultural symbols such as dolls and serpent deities, reinterpret traditional Japanese painting and the culture of MITATE (a traditional Japanese technique of perceiving things as something else) through the use of cutting-edge 3DCG and animation technology, transforming them into photorealistic expressions. This unique approach and theme enable me to share the cultural identity of my homeland, Japan, with the world and explore and expand the possibilities of digital art expression.
